Commenting on the launch of New for 2011, Colin Rice, digital music manager, says: “we7 has always supported new artists and we believe that the best up and coming talent should get the exposure they deserve for providing us with great music. New for 2011 will give our users access to the new and exciting content as well as giving emerging artists the chance to shine before a mass audience.”
Rice continues: “We’re predicting big things for these acts next year and with guitar bands, The Vaccines, Mona and Brother looking to follow in the footsteps of bands such as Oasis, Kasabian and The Libertines, 2011 could be the year that guitar music makes a comeback”.
