Among the five major services, Snapchat has by far the youngest audience, with 83% of its audience under 35, according to new data.
The study, from Global Web Index, found that by way of comparison, the equivalent figures on WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger are 61% and 65%
Meanwhile, Skype has a much older audience – a result, in part, of it being popular as a family communication tool.
