Akash, the low cost Indian tablet is set for a commercial launch, following its Government-subsidised launch in October.
Though the base version was made for students, a commercial variant will also be made available by end of November.
The Aakash will have a shelf name UbiSlate 7.
The current tablets that flock the market being unaffordable to the middle-class Indian, it is likely Aakash will change the tablet market in India.
The tablet comes with 12 month warranty and the maximum retail price of the tablet being Rs. 2,999 including of taxes (less than £40).
The UbiSlate 7 has a 7 inch Android 2.2 touch screen with Wi-Fi internet & 2 full-sized USB ports and promises a high definition video processor and features such as multimedia gaming, web browsing and can double up as an e-book reader and instant messenger through Nimbuzz Webchat.

This is definitely so amazing that they are able to offer a tablet like this for $40. I definitely see a lot of people taking advantage of this so much here. You cannot beat this price at all. hotels in Huntsville
