Fit or Fugly, an app which measures how attractive a face actually is empirically with math and Fibonacci’s Golden Ratio, has releaunched with a new social network attached.
The app was developed by Ted Nash, founder of iPhone app marketing agency Venevi Enterprises.
It utilizes face mapping and recognition algorithms paired with fully automatic face detection and anchor point plotting to calculate whether a face in a photo is attractive or ugly.
Users get the result depending on the symmetry of key features such as eyes, ears, chin, nose and mouth.
A newly integrated social network allows users to view and meet other people via www.fitorfugly.com as well as rate their own pictures. The new Fit or Fugly design also makes it look more professional and this gives people the feeling that this is a brand new app.
