The number of iPhones in the UK is forecast to rise 195% from 2.17 million at the end of 2009 to 6.4 million by the end of this year, according to the latest data announced by mobileSQUARED.
The total number of iPhones in the market will top 9.4 million by the end of 2015 constituting 11% of the total devices used in the UK.
Data extracted from the mobileSQUARED Knowldege Centre shows that the iPhone comprised 2.7% of total active mobile devices in the UK at the end of 2009, and will rise to 7.9% by the end of this year, and hit the 10% mark around the end of 2012.
