Level Up Media, the eSports and gaming video broadcaster, has announced the launch of its brand new website.
TheGamer.TV is a dedicated destination for audiences seeking the latest and greatest premium videos from blockbuster franchises like FIFA, Call of Duty, GTA, Assassin’s Creed and more.
It takes a console-based approached that features funny clips, tips & tricks and walkthrough videos alongside skillful gameplay.
The new platform will build on Level Up Media’s premium eSports video platform, DingIt.TV. Brands can now reach TheGamer’s mainstream audience in addition to DingIt’s highly engaged eSports audience of over 30m monthly users, in a premium and brand-safe environment.
TheGamer is powered by Level Up Media’s video platform that enables viewers across the globe to easily access video-on-demand.
Like DingIt, all content on TheGamer is curated by human moderators rather than an algorithm so that only the very best videos are featured on the platform. This means that brands can trust that their products will always be showcased alongside quality, brand-safe content. It also ensures that viewers only see gaming videos that are relevant to them, meaning that brands can be certain that they are reaching a truly engaged audience.
TheGamer will therefore be a global conduit for brands and advertisers looking to reach mainstream gamers. Alongside the sheer size of the potential audience, rich data from TheGamer creates opportunities for highly-targeted ad placement and granular segmentation.
In addition to the video advertising benefits for brands, publishers can now host TheGamer’s premium video library on their sites to drive engagement and views, and attract new advertisers.
Level Up Media’s VP Content and Marketing, Adam Simmons, said: “We’re incredibly excited to be launching TheGamer.TV. It’s the first dedicated video platform for mainstream gamers where they can watch premium content featuring the biggest games, franchises and titles, without sifting through masses of other videos.
“This is a natural progression for Level Up Media following the growth of DingIt.TV. We have found that, while DingIt is incredibly popular with eSports fans, there are millions of others who want funny, quick-fire moments and tips alongside competitive gameplay. TheGamer is the new home for those content creators and fans, and the brands who want to reach them.”
