HookLogic partners Auchan to bring performance marketing platform to France

Performance marketing firm HookLogic for brands, has partnered with Auchan, one of France’s leading retailers, to offer brands new, high performing advertising opportunities on Auchan.fr.

The advertising comes in the form of Sponsored Products, native product ads on retail websites, allowing brands to leverage real-time targeting to reach the highest intent shoppers across the Internet. The ads link inside the retailer sites, maintaining a closed-loop environment and providing clear attribution and strong returns.

HookLogic operates a unique marketplace, the HookLogic Exchange, where brands bid on media leveraging the world’s largest first party shopper data set and measure SKU-level sales attribution with HookLogic 360, an attribution engine for consumer products. Retailers gain new traffic and media revenue by participating in the HookLogic Exchange.

“French ecommerce sales continue to grow at double-digit rates, aided by increased competition among top retailers. We believe that the surest way to succeed is to enable our brand partners to succeed,” said Irène Martinez, Head of Monetization and Partnerships at Auchan.fr. “HookLogic Sponsored Products is a clear success globally, and one that we are confident is also a perfect fit in the French market to guide and enhance the shopper experience.”

“Auchan, with its strong online presence and extensive product portfolio represents an ideal launch partner for HookLogic,” said Olivier Galichère, Country Manager for France. “HookLogic Sponsored Products allows Auchan to facilitate the shopping journey while improving sales and performance for itself and its partner brands. This move is a direct result of the requests of multiple brand teams to expand our offerings globally.”

This partnership quickly follows the company’s announcement of an office opening in Paris and an overall year of accelerated growth for the company, in which it surpassed $100 million in sales. In 2016 HookLogic received an investment from LUMA Capital Partners and was recognised by Forrester as one of 20 start-ups all retail eBusiness executives should know. The company has also recently opened a Brazil office.
