Facebook has launched an “On This Day” feature that lets users see photos and comments from previous years.
The feature displays status updates, photos, posts from friends, and other items that you shared or appeared in on this date in the past, Facebook said Tuesday.
For example, you can travel back to today’s date a year ago, two years ago, three years ago and all the way back to when you first joined Facebook.
Jonathan Gheller, Product Manager at facebook, said: “People often look back at old photos and other memories they’ve shared on Facebook, and many have told us that they enjoy products and features that make this easier.”
Once on the page, users can choose to subscribe to notifications so you’ll be alerted when they have memories to look back on.
They can also edit and delete old posts, or decide to share your memories with friends.
