SpotXchange expands video ad publishing with MailOnline hire

Video ad platform SpotXchange, is investing in its European publisher division with two key appointments. Alex Kisielewski joins from the MailOnline to be Director of Publisher Development, EMEA and Niall Jones is joining from Havas Media as Publisher Account Manager.


Reporting into Andrew Moore, European Managing Director at SpotXchange, Kisielewski will be responsible for developing relationships with new and existing publisher clients across Europe to help them capitalise on the shift towards programmatic trading. He brings more than five years of publisher-side experience, most recently as Head of Programmatic, EMEA at MailOnline, where he was responsible for driving the publisher’s global strategy for programmatic trading. This involved managing a team of programmatic specialists and working closely with all the major agency trading desks in Europe.
Kisielewski spent several years at MailOnline in a variety of business development roles including Director of Business Development for EMEA and International Yield Manager, EMEA. He has seen the growth of the online video advertising market from its very beginning having joined MailOnline in 2009.
As Publisher Account Manager, Niall will support and advise existing clients on the best approach to pursue their programmatic strategy and yield optimisation. He brings a year and a half experience as a programmatic trader at Affiperf, Havas’ global trading desk, where he was responsible for optimising and managing a portfolio of large-scale campaigns across multiple industries. Prior to that he worked at MPG Media Contacts.
SpotXchange is the leading platform for publishers to monetise video through its robust programmatic technologies. The platform maximises advertising revenue for leading publishers’ digital video inventory by connecting with advertisers via real-time bidding and programmatic buying, including the ability to set up private exchanges with their top advertisers whilst maintaining full control.
