Volkswagen sponsors Onefootball World Cup app

Mobile sports news app Onefootball has launched an app specifically developed for the World Cup in Brazil, sponsored by car giant Volkswagen.



Onefootball Brasil will provide football fans around the globe with everything they need to know about the tournament and give them the chance to interact with each other through the platform. Users can choose their national team and receive customized information within the team stream.
Key app features include:
• Minute by minute text commentary on every game played, from group stage to final
• Personalised push notifications to ensure nothing is missed
• Statistics from Opta on every goal, assist, squad, and formation
• 24/7 World Cup news and videos, curated from sources across the globe and constantly updated with all developments around the tournament
• Have your say – chat with fans from around the world while games are played, comment on the latest news
The Berlin-based company teamed-up with Volkswagen for its special World Cup edition. Europe’s biggest car company already sponsors several clubs from the German Bundesliga, as well as the German cup (DFB-Pokal) and a number of national teams such as Brazil, Argentina, the Netherlands and Switzerland.

Onefootball Brasil is available for download on iOS, Android and Windows Phone in 200 countries and 15 languages including Mandarin for the growing Chinese fan base.
