Facebook advertisers ‘increased revenue 60% over Christmas’ (infographic)

Facebook advertising demonstrated performance improvements in the last quarter of 2013 due to greater consumer interest during the holiday shopping season. This infographic looks at how Facebook ad sales revue rose a massive 60% on the last quarter.

The findings come from a quarterly study by premium digital marketing technology leader, Kenshoo, which reveals that advertiser sales revenue driven by Facebook ads increased 60% quarter on quarter (QoQ).
Quarterly impressions increased by 51%, total clicks went up by 66%, while the click-through rate (CTR) rose by 10%.
The data points reflect more than 115 billion Facebook ads across a representative sample of advertisers and agencies globally who used the Kenshoo Social social media marketing platform in Q3 and Q4 2013.
“We saw over a 100% increase in spend from Facebook advertisers on our platform in the final quarter,” explained Rob Coyne, Managing Director of EMEA for Kenshoo. “Consumers have historically been more likely to engage online and convert in Q4 vs. Q3 due to the festive shopping season. And marketers who tailor their Facebook ads to capture this heightened intent can increase click-through rate and conversion further.”
Kenshoo has created an infographic to present the findings from its study which can be viewed here:
