Crowd-sourcing tool eYeka Pulse lets public suggest ideas to brand marketers

Consumer co-creation platform eYeka has launch PULSE, an online tool that lets consumers suggest new marketing or product ideas to brands in no more than 140 characters.

eYeka PULSE lets marketers to connect with nearly 240,000 consumers from 154 countries, and comes with an online dashboard where marketers can have an overview of consumer-generated ideas and creations.
The new dashboard mixes visual and verbal creative output from eYeka’s creative community, all tailored to the client’s organisation and needs.
Marketers can manage their contests and questions, share content with colleagues and pin down their favourite ideas.
Marketers can also reward these ideas by giving them kudos, about which the creator is immediately notified.
eYeka already organises creative challenges on behalf of leading brands to help consumers with creative ideas connect with brand marketers seeking rich, consumer-rooted solutions.
These challenges take place over a few weeks and call for visual solutions in the form of illustrations, designs or videos.
To date eYeka has launched 495 such creative challenges with consumers submitting over 68,626 ideas, leading to over €2,523,000 in cash prizes awarded.
François Pétavy, Chief Executive Officer at eYeka, says: “Our clients love the creative ideas and the insights that emerge from the eYeka community as they enable them to build and market more relevant brands to consumers. With eYeka PULSE, our clients now can develop sustained, meaningful, real-time conversations with our community to embed them in all aspects of their marketing and communications. Our community is always looking for new opportunities to express their creativity and, since our soft launch 3 weeks ago, we have already received over 4,000 ideas from all over the world and covering topics from branding to promotional ideas to suggestions for new products”.
