ASOS targets mobile fashion shoppers with two new apps

Mobile agency Nimbletank has created two new mobile apps for online fashion retailer ASOS, as the brand optimises its offering for smartphones and tablets.

The ASOS Daily Edit is a mobile web app designed to give consumers a bespoke, bitesize chunk of ASOS products and content selected by ASOS editors and celebrity guests to highlight spotlight products by category on a daily basis.
Users can create hotlists, share content with friends and purchase products directly through their mobile devices.
For ASOS, Nimbletank has also created a highly engaging custom Store Front for FashionUp, a free weekly mobile magazine app specifically formatted for fashion-savvy consumers on-the-go. Available each Monday, Fashion Up features rich interactive content including the latest trends, fashion, editorial and ‘how-to’ videos.
Moving forward, the mobile channel will be key to underpin ASOS communications, providing an always on touch-point to engage customers with the ASOS brand and its products.
