As mobile phones become more sophisticated, recycling old devices for cash is becoming commonplace. This infographic from tablet and mobile phone trade-in comparison site SellMyMobile.com looks at the rise of mobile phone recycling.
The data highlights the top 20 mobile phone recycling hot spots across the UK, along with the average trade-in value of handsets for a range of different devices.
It also highlights the top ten most commonly recycled phones – with the Apple iPhone 4 16GB coming out on top.
Recent data also found that trade-ins through the site actually peak around major device launches such as the iPhone 5, and just before Christmas.
