British adults don’t think Halloween is just for kids. On shopping search engine Twega, searches for adult Halloween fancy dress costumes rose 72% in the past 30 days.
Traditional Halloween scary costumes such as ghosts, skeletons, witches and devils are also becoming less popular.
British shoppers now see Halloween as an opportunity to show their creative and sexy sides: Cheerleader, geisha and Jessica Rabbit costumes are the most popular themes, along with Toy Story and James Bond characters.
