Small businesses are set to benefit from a new free service which gives registered FreeIndex members a unique website address.
As part of its continual development, FreeIndex, the UK’s business information site, recognised that many of its members had a need for a free website address, offering an alternative to having a website professionally built.
Martin Turner, managing director at FreeIndex, explains, “Starting up a new business can be a costly exercise and one of the first things you need is a web presence. Many small businesses spend a lot of money on having a flashy website designed, without really understanding how they are going to get people to visit their site.
“We are now offering small businesses a free alternative which is automatically optimised for being found in search engines and allows businesses to add all sorts of information including photos, customer testimonials, products, services and special offers”
