Communiqué 360 wins jersey.com task

Building on the previous success of the Jersey Tourism website, www.jersey.com, Communiqué 360 will take the site to the next stage and ensure that it fully reflects the island's Brand identity.

One of the principal objectives of the rebuild will be to increase visitor hits to the site, with the knock on effect of more holidaymakers choosing Jersey as a destination.

The new jersey.com website will be designed to fully integrate with Communiqué 360's recently launched marketing campaign for Jersey Tourism.

The campaign which includes 30' and 10' national TV advertising, press advertising, DM and EDM pieces to targeted databases was launched in early February 2007.

The fully integrated push is designed to drive more enquiries about Jersey and ultimately to increase year on year holiday bookings to the destination. The new website will utilise the same imagery and branding as the broader marketing campaign to ensure integration of branding across the piece.

Communiqué 360 was one of six agencies that pitched for the jersey.com task in November 2006. Against fierce competition the agency reached the final two in the New Year before successfully winning the pitch this week.

Sunara Spires of Communiqué 360 said: “Almost half of the island's visitors currently use the internet to choose their destination, hotel and activities on Jersey. This opportunity allows us to integrate the new website with our existing Jersey work and ultimately increase the number of visitors to Jersey as a result. The additional functionality that we plan to add to the site will help to develop a far more friendlier and rewarding online experience for the everyday user.”
